Collected data

So-called cookies are set when you visit our website. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. As a rule, cookies contain a characteristic sequence of characters, the so-called cookieID, with which your browser can be identified when you visit our web pages again.

In addition, we use so-called tags, which are small code elements that help us to measure the behaviour of our users and the success of advertising activities. Depending on the type of cookies or tags, different data is collected and processed pseudonymously.

We use both our own cookies and cookies from other providers (third-party cookies). The third-party cookies are described in detail in section 2 C below.

Purposes of the data processing
Technically necessary cookies enable the technical functioning of the website. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies.

Functionality cookies are used to make our websites more user-friendly and to ensure certain functionalities, e.g. the cross-page shopping cart display, in which you can see how many items are currently in your shopping cart, and the storage of your login data so that you can access your previously entered data and settings when you return to the site.

Analytics cookies and tags allow us to generate aggregate statistics, such as number of hits, which areas of the websites are viewed most frequently, and information about locations and average time spent on the websites. This enables us to improve the quality of our websites and the content.

Advertising cookies and retargeting technologies enable us to provide you with offers and information tailored to your specific needs. This enables us to make our websites more interesting for you and to address you on other websites with personalised, interest-based advertising.

Storage duration and control options: Some of the cookies we use are automatically deleted after closing the browser (so-called session cookies), others remain permanently on your terminal device and enable us to recognize your browser (so-called persistent cookies).

You have full control over the use of cookies and can delete cookies in your browser, deactivate the storage of cookies completely or accept certain cookies selectively. Please use the help functions of your browser to find out how to change these settings. This may limit the functionality of our websites.

D. Third party cookie and tracking technologies used

Google - Collected data - Google Analytics

On our websites we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics sets cookies on your end device which enable us to evaluate your use of our websites. For this purpose, Google collects e.g. data to uniquely identify your browser, information about when and how often you have visited our websites, how long you stayed on our websites and how you have interacted with our websites (more information about this can be found here)

We have extended Google Analytics with the code "get._anonymizeIP();". This code causes Google to shorten your IP address and enables an anonymised evaluation. IP addresses are shortened within the EU or the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. The data determined with the help of the cookies is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Compliance with data protection standards and your rights is ensured by Google's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield. Google transfers data to third parties if consent has been granted, if this is necessary for legal reasons or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google Ads

Google Ads and conversion tracking This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). We use conversion tracking as part of Google Ads. If you click on an advert operated by Google, this places a conversion tracking cookie on your system. Cookies are small text files stored on the user's computer by the Internet browser. These cookies are no longer valid after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and ourselves can detect that the user has clicked on the ad and been forwarded to this page.

Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked past the websites of Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie serves to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have elected to use conversion tracking. The customer learns the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and been forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive information that can be used to identify users personally. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can easily opt out of its use by deleting the Google conversion tracking cookie via the user settings of your Internet browser. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Conversion cookies are stored on the basis of Article 6(1f) GDPR. The owner of the website has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and their advertising. You can find more information about Google Ads and Google conversion tracking in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. You can configure your browser so that you are notified about the use of cookies and allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, decline to accept cookies generally or in specific cases, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. The functionality of this website may be impaired if you disable cookies.

Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) for tracking and analysis. GTM does not collect any personal information. It is a tool that automatically updates the code snippets of tags that collect sensitive information. GTM does not use this information. Even in cases where you reject cookies or deactivate URL-based session tracking, the tags managed by GTM remain activated. Google Tag Manager cookies are stored on the basis of Article 6(1f) GDPR. You can find further information at https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy.
