In the context of field complaints, the suppliers concerned should carry out a suitable diagnostic investigation of the suspect component in order to enable fault detection and generate suitable remedial measures and to avoid further field complaints.

The VDA Volume Field Failure Analysis (SAF) defines the diagnostic methods and the procedure model for achieving acceptable and comprehensible diagnostic results.

In this seminar, the idea of the SAF is explained, the essential work steps and procedures are explained.
