ID 318 - VDA 6.5 - Qualification for Product Auditor

Increased customer expectations, safety requirements, statutory requirements as well as the increased use of electronic components and software lead to more complex products. End customer expectations can no longer only be determined in specifications. Automotive manufacturers and the supplier industry must identify these product characteristics independently and transfer them into the products. This focus must also be taken into account when conducting product audits. Meanwhile, product quality is assured by consistent implementation of preventive quality planning methods. For this reason, product audits not only have the task of assuring quality, but also of providing evidence.Within the process chain, product audits are expected to highlight the quality level of the internally / externally manufactured products.   ContentProduct audit basicsStructure of the audit programme and product audit sequenceAudit planningConducting a product auditReportingCorrective actionsQualification requirements for product auditors Prerequisites for participationProduct audit knowledge preferable Target audiencePersonnel planning and/or conducting product audits in their organization Qualification CertificateAfter passing the test, you will receive a VDA certificate of qualification. ID 321 - VDA 6.3 - Qualification for Process Auditor - One-Week Training

Background and Topics The VDA 6.3 process audit is an effective procedure for assessing processes in connection with planning and manufacturing of a product. These audits are usually conducted within the organization or with suppliers prior to series release, but also form a valuable contribution for process optimization with already existing manufacturing lines. Furthermore, potential analysis – as part of VDA 6.3 – also constitutes a tried an tested method to select new suppliers. The third and complete revision of the VDA standard in 2016 had the main objective of simplifying and unifying the standard in order to give it a more practical and international orientation. With these new advantages, the worldwide importance of VDA 6.3 has increased. Moreover, this process audit standard can now also be applied to further sectors such as mechanical engineering and wind power.
